Fred and Mark have been owners of startups numerous times since the 1980s. We also started USA operations for several non-USA companies desiring to open US offices. We never had outside investors or access to funding. We bootstrapped our last company, UniPress Software, from Fred's living room into a company with 55+ employees and annual revenues in excess of $12,000,000 with very high profit margins. We know how to accomplish a lot with only a little.
Both of us are technically oriented and are programmers as well as system designers. Mark is the more experienced programmer, with a background in compiler and operating system design. Fred is an application and business system programmer with an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. Mark has an MS in computer science from Pratt Institute;
