Contacting Jewish Soldiers at Hanukkah Time

Bunny Bloom, a member of our congregation, alerted me to the following way of contact at Hanukkah with our Jewish Armed Service personnel overseas. "I contacted Rabbi Huerta who told me that he had actually gone to Iraq and distributed the cards he received. He gave me the name of a rabbi to contact at Jewish War Veterans for contacts in Iraq. The attachment is the list of Jewish personnel in the Middle East to contact. If you are so inclined, send a Chanukah card to any of the people on the list to be distributed to Jewish soldiers. I'm sure all of the Christian soldiers will be getting all kinds of mail and this might be an appropriate thing to do."
